Jazz Vespers will be back for its 12th year in January.

Jazz Vespers Musicians Sponsorship

Our 12th season of Jazz Vespers as Good Shepherd will begin in January. These Vespers are an outreach ministry to the community and a worship opportunity for our members. We have had wonderful and talented musicians play at these services.

In order to maintain the quality of musicians, we are initiating a sponsorship for the Jazz Musician Fund as a way to help fund our Jazz Vespers. The offering taken during the Jazz Vespers does not and is not meant to cover the expenses incurred for the musicians. It is an outreach ministry. The cost for the musicians ranges from $500.00 to $600.00 for each service.

If you would like to be a sponsor for the Jazz Musicians for the 2012 season (January, February, March and April), your donation of $100.00 or more will be placed in the Jazz Vespers Musician Fund. Please make your check payable to Good Shepard Lutheran Church, or you may make a cash donation. In either case:

1. Place your offering in a special offering envelope found in the pew.
2. Mark the envelope Jazz Musicians sponsorship.
3. Place the envelope in the offering plate.

A letter will be sent to you thanking you for your donation, and your name will appear in the Bulletin and in The Shepherds' Call as a sponsor for Jazz Musicians.

If the sponsoring monies received should exceed the expense of the musicians' cost for this year, the excess will be placed in the Jazz Musicians Fund to be used in following years.
